Meet Dr. Joseph Intrieri

Dr. Joseph Intrieri comes from Western Pennsylvania and was raised in a family of educators. Dr. Intrieri received his Bachelor's degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, a Masters of Education from California University of Pennsylvania, and an Educational Doctorate from Shippensburg/Millersville Universities of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Intrieri has taught students in the middle and high school levels in Western Pennsylvania while also coaching high school basketball. He came to Central Pennsylvania to begin his administrative career holding principal positions at all secondary levels. Dr. Intrieri plans to bring a collaborative approach to his leadership at East High by facilitating dialogue with students, staff, and the community.

Dr. Intrieri is married to an educator in a neighboring district, and together they have two young daughters. A lifelong fan of Pittsburgh sports, he enjoys cheering on his hometown teams. One of his favorite pastimes is taking family vacations to Disney World, creating lasting memories with his loved ones.
