Asst. Principal 10th Grade

I was born in East Stroudsburg, PA. I graduated from Susquehanna Township High School. I then attended the University of Pittsburgh, where I obtained a BS in Neuroscience and Africana Studies. I received my teaching credentials from Wilson College’s Teacher Internship Program. I started teaching at the former Ronald H. Brown Charter School, teaching middle school social studies. I then spent a year at Lincoln Elementary as a 7th and 8th grade science teacher.

In 2007, I joined the Central Dauphin East High faculty as a social studies teacher, where I have remained for the past 15+ years. I have been active in various capacities, including curriculum writing, PBIS community outreach committee, PTSO, and the list goes on. I have a Masters in Multicultural Education from Eastern University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Cabrini University. I recently finished a Post Masters Certificate in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment at Walden University. I have African American Studies I & II, Sociology, American Government, AP European History, and Multicultural History. Also, I serve on the District’s Equity and Inclusion committee. Outside of school, I am a 23-year-member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and am involved with the Harrisburg Alumnae Chapter. I enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

In my current position as an Assistant Principal, I hope to bring my expertise in curriculum and instruction, along with my love for the community, to make Central Dauphin East High School an even greater place for both students and staff. #BeGreat
